I set up my bespoke bridlework business and repairs service in the autumn of 2000.

Alongside the bridlework and repairs service I continued to add to my skills by training with a local Master Saddler and Mark Romain at the Saddlery Training Centre.

In 2008 I gained my City and Guilds Level 2 Bridle Making.
In 2009 I gained my City and Guilds Level 2 Harness Making
In 2010 I gained my City and Guilds Level 2 Saddle Making and Level 3 Bridle Making
In 2011 I gained my City and Guilds Level 3 Saddle Making

I am now a Qualified Saddler and a Member of The Society of Master Saddlers.  I am continuing to work on my harness so I can take my final City and Guilds qualifications Stage 3 Harness Making so I can aslo become a Qualified Harness maker.

All my work is made using Best Quality English Leather, British made Fittings and is mostly hand stitched.  I take great pride in producing beautiful handcrafted pieces which give years of service.
About Me

I have grown up with and worked with horses most of my life.  From a first riding lesson at 7yrs old I have been hooked.  Growing up outside Newmarket I had weekend jobs on studs and in sales/breaking yards.

This gave me experience of many of the different equine spheres including working with Racehorses, Polo ponies, Eventers, Breeding stock and Show ponies.

Then after attending Agricultural college I took the opportunity to work with livestock, donkeys and heavy horses.

But it is showing where my real passion developed.

Having had some success in the show ring with my registered Exmoor ponies Tawbitts Popeye and Hawkwell Hanibal.
It is now the turn of my registered Dales Pony, Southburn Treasure, in the show ring and I hope to bring him out under saddle and in harness next year.
