Leather

I only use English Leather in my products.  This is veg tanned bridle butt of the highest quality.  For general leatherwork I use leather 2.5-3mm thick.  In the Bridlework I use 3.5-4mm thick and for Headcollars and Heavy Horse Bridles I use 4- 4.5mm.

Colours

I use two main colours.  Black and Dark Havanna which is a lovely rich dark brown.  I will be introducing a light brown known as Light Havanna and a reddy brown known as Australian Nut shortly.

For fittings I use a range of British made Brass, Stainless Steel and Nickel Plated buckles, rings, clips etc.

All items are hand stitched and unless requested or stated the stitching will match the colour of the leather.

Measurements

All my items are made using imperial measurements as is traditional of the saddlery trade.

Every order is unique and so can be tailored to meet most requirements.  So if you don't see what you want please don't hesitate to contact me using the contact me form with your ideas.

Measuring for a Bespoke Belt

Option 1  If you already have a belt then lay it on a table and measure from the hole you use the most to the end of the leather where it turns over and the buckle pin goes through.

Option 2  Put on the trousers/jeans the belt is to be used with.  Using a fabric tape measure place it through the belt loops as you would a belt and measure round.

The belt will then be made using this measurement to make the middle hole of the new belt allowing for adjustment either way.

Measuring for a Bespoke Dog Collar

Option 1  Using a fabric tape measure place it round your dogs neck allowing for two fingers to fit inside.

Option 2  If you already have a collar then lay it flat and measure from where the buckle pin comes through the leather at one end to the hole you use at the other.

The collar will then be made using this measurement to make the middle hole allowing for adjustment in either direction.
